Magneton Telenovela – Hardwald Sunburst

A light and wonderfully warm sounding Pinecaster Tele made from old local wood! The pine wood for the body of this beautiful guitar comes from the Muttenz forest (from the "Hardwald" to be exact) and was felled around 1960 and well cured since then. We were able to secure the beautiful wood and build the first of 2 guitars from it. 
 
The classic Tele was also given the Smuggler's Cut, not necessarily just to further reduce the weight of the already light instrument, but because we have found that this makes the guitars sound even woodier and more resonant, tending towards a thinline sound.
 
Of course, we then used only the best ingredients for this Tele, such as a roasted maple neck, hand-wound pickups by Lindy Fralin, a classic but better intonated bridge and - as always - stainless steel frets and locking tuners. 
 
The guitar is retro designed, made of old fantastic sounding spruce, but very modern playable. Just the way we think a good guitar should be!
