Magneton Telenovela "Micawber"
This Magneton Telenovela was built for Swiss Singer-Songwriter-Guitarist-Producer Jachin Baumgartner of Dream Pilot and Chicken Reloaded and it is our interpretation of Keith Richards' heavy modded Tele. Like his "Micawber", we also placed a humbucker in the neck position – and in my ears the best sounding doublecoil so far, Lindy Fralin's Pure PAF. Jachin wanted a a comfortable, gig-ready stage guitar, so we chose to build it based on a lightweight cryo treated pine body with modern shapings and contemporary hardware. So it's a very modern guitar, based on Leo's very first 50s pinewood tele's with Keith's Mods from the 70s – a time travel on six strings, if you will …
